Welcome to Goodman Kennels! We take great pride in raising our dogs with care and endless love. Our furry friends are a huge part of our family, which includes my children, nieces, and nephews, who love spending time with them.

I was born and raised in Lansing, MI, and I come from a big family. I used to be an athlete and have been around dogs my whole life, from Rottweilers to pit bulls. In fact, it was my own pit bull that led me to discover the Presa Canario breed. I was looking for a bigger dog, and the Presa's similar appearance to a pit bull caught my attention. As I started to research the breed, I fell in love with their unique qualities and decided to pursue breeding Presas.

After graduating from Eastern Illinois with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Professional Development, I returned home and started my journey into the world of Presa Canarios. Now, at Goodman Kennels, we're passionate about producing Presas with excellent temperament, great structure, and functional movement, making them the perfect family guardians and working dogs.
